About Throne of Glass:
- the additional novella which is about Chaol will be LONG. Sarah said she originally wanted to include it in EOS but it would have made it at least 100 pages longer, and added this novella will be like a ‘small book’
- she is still working on a 6 book target, no more then 6 books and the novellas and encyclopaedia tie in.
- Sarah is extremely happy with the concept art and the script writing for the TOG tv show.
About ACOTAR:
- Sarah has become 'obsessed’ with two side characters in particular, and will be writing a full length novel that follows their own story as a spin-off after ACOTAR 3
- Sarah is planning a few novellas, that may become novels, surrounding the ACOTAR world.
In general:
- Sarah hardly knows what month it is, but is obsessed with Stranger Things and owns several Eleven t-shirts
And most importantly:
- Throne of Glass and ACOTAR take place in the same 'megaverse’, meaning theoretically someone could open a portal or doorway in one world and end up in the other. When asked to elaborate on whether there would be any 'Easter eggs’ from one world showing up in the other, Sarah refused to comment, saying that that would be spoilers.
- Sarah has toyed with the idea of writing a full on crossover where the characters of TOG and ACOTAR meet, and thinks she might do it at some point 'in the future’.
